Peanut Pakoda

Peanut pakoda is our favourite snack during any weather and especially when it rains.

This peanut pakoda is really easy to make. Thanks to allsrilankanrecipes for publishing my recipe. 


Peanut Pakoda

  1. Roasted peanuts- 200grams
  2. Gram dhal-150g
  3. Rice flour-30g
  4. Red chili powder- 2 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
  6. Asafetida /Ajwain powder (optional)- 1/4 tsp
  7. Salt -1/4 tsp or as needed
  8. Water 3 tbs or as needed
  9. Oil for deep frying
  1. Mix the gram dhal flour, rice flour , Chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida/ Ajwain powder and salt.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the roasted peanuts and Sprinkle little water and mix well gently with your fingers until each nut is coated with gram flour mixture.
  4. Heat the oil on a medium flame, and deep fry the peanut pakoda until they are well cooked and golden brown in color.
  5. Drain it in a paper towel.
  6. Serve hot with a cup of tea.
